BAFSA holds a range of seminars and member networking events throughout the year for those wishing to know more about sprinklers.
A number of our events will now offer CPD credits for the looking to improve their industry knowledge. We will indicate where this is applicable.
In 2024 Bafsa celebrated 50 years since the association was founded in 1974.
We held several events to celebrate including a House of Lords lunch, a conference and black tie gala dinner at the Marriott Victoria and Albert hotel in Manchester.
BAFSA's 50th anniversary gala dinner was held at Victoria & Albert Hotel in Manchester in November 2024 where 240 guests including members and industry VIPs gathered together to celebrate a half century of advocating for sprinklers

It also features interviews with Ronnie King OBE of the All Party Parliamentary Fire & Rescue Group who was a witness in the Grenfell enquiry and also Ann Jones who spearheaded the campaign to bring legislation in Wales that mandated sprinklers to be fitted in all new buildings.
